Starling Lane Vineyard Wedding
This was a super sunny and gorgeous wedding in July at Starling Lane Vineyard. We kicked off the day with a first look between the bride and groom, which I love doing. This property has so many picturesque locations within a close proximity. At this point because of covid-19, dancing at weddings was still illegal- so the couple did not have a first dance planned. I made them break the law and have a first dance inside the greenhouse (in private). My favourite part about this wedding- two ceremonies! TWO CEREMONIES LET’S GOOO! The couple hosted a western-style ceremony along with a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony. The bride did a wardrobe change halfway through the day and changed into a beautiful red dress. During the tea ceremony, the couple serves tea to their close relatives and in return their relatives gift them with red envelopes to give their blessings. It was a wonderful experience to be able to photograph.
